Welcome to the new year. Last year we saw a lot of situations going on in the mobile world, especially 9Mobile Telecoms, previously known as Etisalat. Because of bad debts, they lost their main investors and then had to change their name. Currently, they are in the brink of being sold to pay back their debts. All in all, they've tried in providing good network. In fact they have one of the most stable and fast network connection in the country. But unfortunately, they are also known for their unconventional high pricing of Data Plans, and their data tends to wind up quickly which have been a major turn off for many Nigerians. Still one must admit that since they changed their name, they've done a good job in providing good Internet network that is even better than the mighty Mtn. If you want to enjoy fast network connection, then I suggest that you consider carefully this article on 9mobile data plans for January as they presently have one of the most reliable network

Instagram Added "Add A Comment" Button To Its App Main Feed

Image
Since the beginning of the year, Instagram have been adding a lot of new features to its app. Now as part of their latest update, they have added a "add a comment" button below posts that enables you to type and send a comment without having to leave your main feed. With this new feature, making comments on photos/videos will become much easier and convenient. Previously, Android users had to tap on the comment icon to get to the comments section before they share their feelings or opinions on a picture or video. Though this process seems cool, making a comment without having to leave your main feed is a way cooler. The new feature though seems to be a bit buggy at the moment as the button shows up and works fine on some posts, but it's just nowhere to be seen on others. Instagram first started rolling out this new comment button to Apple's iOS last month. Now Android is getting a feel of it. With this redesign, you would now be able to easily make comment

Google's voice-activated virtual helper, Google Assistant, is coming soon to phones running Android 5.0 Lollipop and tablets running Android 7.0 Nougat and 6.0 Marshmallow. Android 5.0 Lollipop has been available since 2014, which makes it an old operating system, since Android 8.1 Oreo is now latest version. But according to Google, more than 26 percent of all Android devices still run some version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. While just over 30 percent run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
