Hauwei Beats Apple To Become The Second Largest Smartphone Maker In The World

Wow, Huawei has beaten Apple to become the second largest smartphone makers in the world.  Market research firm, Counterpoint, released a report in which it stated that the Chinese firm overtook Apple to second place in the month of June and July, and probably August from the strong showing in terms of sales from Huawei devices during the month which could be a hat-trick for the company.  The top spot goes to Samsung which has been enjoying huge success with its new Galaxy S8 and Note 8 devices.  Huawei success however may not last as Apple about to launch its newest iPhone device, one that would change sales spikes.  Huawei may want to counter this with its new. HMD Global have announced that all their Nokia-branded Android phones will receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update. HMD Global's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas who made the announcement is not however committing to any timeline when the update would arrive. Still Nokia's Android phones have always been quick with their security updates. So we can expect that Android O update should be available soon for 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and the flagship Nokia 8.
