Netflix Will Be Blocking Rooted Android Phones From Downloading Its App

Image
Posted by Chris Iteh  News just surface that the popular streaming company, Netflix, will be blocking rooted Android phones from downloading its app newest version. This means that if you’ve rooted your Android phone, you will no longer be able to download the Netflix’s app from Google Play Store. In a statement, the video streaming company confirm that “many devices that are not Google-certified or have been altered will no longer work with (their) latest app and those users will no longer see the Netflix app in the Play Store.” Netflix move may be related to the fact that their latest 5.0 app release fully relies on the Widevine Digital Rights Management (DRM) provided by Google. The purpose of the DRM is to protect media companies from piracy and rooted devices that give users control over the operating system as they have a greater possibility of breaking the protection of the DRM. Netfix may have acted to protect their Copyright materials. Still it’s troubling t

All Airtel Internet Data Plans For Androids - May 2017 Posted by Chris Iteh Glo data plans are currently the cheapest in Nigeria, but their bad network connection has been the bane for most people’s access to the web. Watching and streaming Videos, downloading music and playing games online seem like a joke; some even think Glo is just scamming them. Moreover, the mobile telecommunication giant just recently updated their data plans in which subscribers will only get half the volume of what they usually pay for. As a result, many Nigerians have made up their minds to migrate to other internet providers. But the question is: which one provides the most affordable data plan after Glo and the best internet connection? Well if you ask me, I’ll recommend Airtel. Why? Stick with me and please don't get bored as I present the evidence. Reasons To Choose Airtel  Airtel Nigeria is currently the second biggest telecommunication service provider and company in Nigeria afte

Glo Have Slashed Data Volumes By Half

Image
Disbelief! Shock! Outrage! Those were the reactions I experienced when I checked on Glo’s data plan from my mobile phone in order to renew my exhausted plan. I couldn’t believe what my eyes were seeing. The telecom giant, who called themselves the grandmasters of data plans, had slashed their data volume by half, meaning that we now get to pay the same full amount for half of what we formerly get. To put it simply, what was formerly 3.2GB for N1000 is now 1.6GB for N1000. Just dial *777# and follow the prompt to see for yourself if you haven’t. Unbelievable don’t you think? The route Glo seem to be taking is risky and bad for their business since their network connection is already considered to be one of the poorest in the country that has left a long queue of subscribers fuming. The only reason people like us have remained loyal to Glo despite their epileptic network is because their data plan is the most affordable and the cheapest in Nigeria. So their new
