Etisalat are very well known for having stable network connection. But they are also known for their unconventional high pricing of Data Plans which have made them not a favorite among Nigerians. They were finally made to see sense as they were forced to reduced their data plans and pricing, but some of the plans are still a bit expensive compared to other network providers.
If you want to enjoy fast network connection, then this article on Etisalat data plans may be just for you. Though this article is specifically meant for Android device users, people with laptops, modem, and iPad and iPhones could also benefit from it.

Smartpaks
Etisalat Smartpaks is a data package for users who just want to use the internet to chat or watch videos. With smartpak, you can enjoy unlimited access to your favorite social apps, such as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and YouTube, to chat, get social, watch movies or live sports. You’ll never have to run out of data.
Etisalat smartpaks is divided into ChatPak, SocialmePak and VideoPak. Below are the plans you can choose from to suit your lifestyle.
Etisalat Chatpak - N50 for 1 day and N150 for 1 week – Unlimited access to instant messaging apps, such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messanger, WeChat, BBM, etc.
Etisalat Socialmepak – N300 for 1 week – Unlimited access to social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, BBM, Instagram, Eskimi, etc.
Etisalat Videopak – N400 for 2 hours – Get 2 hours of uninterrupted video streaming from any apps, such as YouTube. That’s enough time for you to enjoy a live football match or watch a movie.
To subscribe to any of the smartpak plans, dial *200# and select option 3 for the data menu. Choose option 3 for smartpaks.
That’s all we have about Etisalat Data Plan for android devices. Though Etisalat is not presently my favorite, I must admit that they do have good network connection compared to glo's.
And I must also point out that their socialpak plan will be a good recommendation if you want to enjoy unlimited social media access without worrying about data usage.
