Google just announced that in the next few months it will be rolling out video ads in the Play Store. Ads are not particularly exciting to a lot of people due to their annoying interference when one is browsing online. Google however intends to limit that problem with the video ad plan. For example, the videos will not autoplay as you scroll through the Play Store. Instead you will have to click on the ads to play the videos,which is why Google terms it as “click-to-play video ads”.
