Go to the official webpage of KeepVid Android, and click the "Download" button. The KeepVid Android apk file will then be downloaded on your Android device. 

Alternatively, you can choose to download the APK file from the keepVid site to your PC if you have one and then transfer the file from there to your Android device. 

Note: In case this is the first time you are installing apps from third-party sites, you’ll need to enable “Unknown Resources” in your phone's Settings since Android phones generally don't allow downloads from outside play store.

Method 1. Using Smart Clipboard

Step 1
Go to YouTube on your mobile and find the video you want to download. Then tap the Share option and choose "Copy link".

Step 2
KeepVid Android will automatically detect the video URL and ask you whether you want to download it. Tap OK to continue and KeepVid Android will go to YouTube and play your video.

Now tap the Download button beside the video URL (the blue circle with a white arrow facing down).

After making your selection, KeepVid Android will start downloading the video. 

Step 5
When the download finishes, you’ll get the downloaded video in the Downloaded tab at the top of the page. You can can also find your downloaded videos in the KeepVid folder in your phone's file manager. 

Method 2. Downloading Directly with Download Button 

Step 1
Launch keepvid and tap the thumbnail of YouTube on the  homepage. The app will navigate you to the YouTube site.

Step 2
There's a Download button beside every video you play. Tap the Download button (the blue circle with a white arrow facing down). 

Step 3
A pop-up dialog will be displayed asking you to select the video and audio quality you want. If you don't know which video quality you want, pick MP4 480p as it works best on mobile since it consumes less data and space. 
 
Step 4
After making your choice, tap the Download button to start downloading video.

Step 5
When the downloading process finishes, you’ll get the downloaded video in the Downloaded tab at the top of the page. Or you can can find your downloaded videos in the KeepVid folder in your phone's file manager.

Method 3. Copying and Pasting Links Manually

Step 1
After installation, open the YouTube app on your phone or go to the site through a web browser. Copy the link of the video you want to download. You'll find it at the address bar at the top of the page.

Step 2
Head over to your KeepVid app and tap on the YouTube thumbnail on the homepage.

Now paste the link of the video in the bar on the top of the page. (Or you can just tap on the cross button at the bottom of the KeepVid Android homepage and paste the link to the input field that comes up). The video will then start playing.

Step 1
