We promised to share with you the May data plans for Glo network, the self-proclaimed "Grandmaster of Data". So without much ado, let's jump right to it.
Apart from the data plans, this article contains all the subscription and codes to use in accessing the plans.
GLO DATA PLANS
Glo data bundles range from daily, weekly, monthly and Flexi plans to Blackberry Plans including plans for Blackberry 10 devices. The plans works perfectly well on all devices including Android smartphones, Apple iPads and iPhones, internet modems, PSP and laptops.
Please note that New Customers would get the bonus data Volume as a bonus. All Existing Customers would also enjoy this bonus, provided they subscribe to a new plan within 3 days after their data is finished. Otherwise, they will only receive the usual data volume without the bonus when they do eventually subscribe.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR DATA BALANCE
To access any of the above plans, dial *777# or visit hsi.glo.com to buy and manage subscriptions and follow the prompt.
To check how much data you have left, dial *127*0# or send INFO to 127 and you’ll receive SMS alert on how much MB you have left.
GLO APN SETTINGS
To activate your Glo APN Settings, head to your phone APN settings and input the following:
• Account Name: Glo Nigeria
• Access point name (APN): gloflat
• Username: flat
• Password: flat
DATA CALCULATOR
You can calculate the internet data you are using with this guide:
Web browsing = 10MB per hour
Email = 50KB per email
YouTube streaming = 2MB per minute.
That means:
100MB will be equivalent to 10 hours of web browsing or checking 2000 emails or watching 50 mins of video streaming.
500MB will be equivalent to 50 hours web browsing or the checking of 10,000 emails or watching 4 hours of video streaming.
2GB will be equivalent of 200 hours of web browsing or the checking of 40,000 emails or watching 20 hours of video streaming.
6GB will be equivalent to 600 hours of web browsing or watching 60 hours of video streaming or using your mobile as modem.
