How to Easily Download Movies for Free From Fzmovies on Your Android Smartphone (Updated)

Fzmovies have been a favorite among Nigerians for years in downloading movies.

Why?

Because the site has a large array of movies in various categories that, though in smaller formats, are of high quality, that is clearer picture viewing for smartphones and tablets.

Most important, the movies come in smaller sizes (some ranging as low as 150mb depending on the movie's running time), making it easier for faster download without wasting your internet data and storage space of your device.

Another great thing about the site is that you can also download TV shows and cartoons, in avi and mp4 formats.

Fzmovies also have a free mobile app which allows users to download films easily.

However, for sometime, there have been problems opening the site, but now it's back with a new look and better features that makes it easy to navigate through the website and download films.

Still, some people are struggling to navigate through the site or to make successful downloads. So for the benefit of such ones, this article has been created to deal with these and various other problems on the site.

But before we delve into the process, you need to get an overview of the site so as to familiarize yourself with it better. 

Fzmovies: An Overview

The movies on Fzmovies can be grouped into 2 sections - Bollywood Movies and Hollywood Movies.

Under both sections, there are  different categories that makes it easy to navigate through the site and easily download any type of movie you like without any mix-up. The following are what you will find beneath each sections:

Filmfare Awarded Movies (Bollywood) – This category is only on the Bollywood section and it contains bollywood movies that has received Filmfare awards which an Indian version of the Oscar.

IMDB Top 250 Movies (Hollywood) – The IMDB is an American movie review site that ranks TV series and movies according to critical review which results to film ratings on its site. The top IMDB films are only found in this section.

By latest updated – This category contains the movies (new or old) that have been recently added on the site.

By Release date – On this section you can search for movies based on the years of movies release.

By Alpha – This section displays all the movies uploaded on the site in ascending order from A-Z.

By Most Downloaded – As the name implies, the most downloaded movies on the site are displayed here under this section.

How to Download Movies on Fzmovies

Downloading movies on fzmovies is very easy if you follow the step by step guide below.

Step 1:
Open your mobile browser and type in the URL of the Fzmovies official site: www.fzmovies.de.

Step 2:
On the homepage, scroll down past the ads and choose between the Bollywood Movies or Hollywood Movies section. Pick out of the 5 categories under them to browse through the various movies in them to find the one you want to download.

Alternatively, you can use the custom search box to find movies based on the movie Name, Director or Star Cast. But make sure you type the name correctly and you checkmark one of the 3 options under the box before hitting search.

Step 3:
On the next page, you will come across movies that have been grouped according to Stars (Will Smith, Bruce Willis), Director (James Cameron, Steven Spielberg), Genre (Action, Comedy) and Year of film release (2018, 2017). Pick the type you want to find the films available. Or you can simply scroll down to view and select one of the films listed below.

Step 4:
When you've made your selection, you'll be taken to the new page where you shown the movie poster as well as its review. You will also find the three main quality formats for films on this site: 3gp, Mp4 and High Mp4. Tap on the format you want to download the movie on.

Note: The 3gp and Mp4 movies are split into 2 parts, whereas the High Mp4 movies come in a single part. Though they are larger in size, I'll advise that you go for the High Mp4, as they have better and clearer picture quality. But if your smartphone is not high-end enough or does not have enough storage space, you can go for low quality 3gp or mp4 format.

Step 5:
When you choose a format, you will be shown the link/links that will take you to the next step. Tap on the link.

Obviously, you should pick a film with either BluRay_high or brrip quality above every other format type for they are the best. Forget those so-called Hdrip or DvDrip (unless you have no choice), and definitely don't go for TS or Camrip as they are very terrible.

Step 6:
On the next page, you'll be given 2 options - Download the movie to your device or Steam the movie online. Click on the one for downloading movies which is at the top.

Step 7:
On the final page, you'll see various boxes with download links. Pick one of the boxes and select between the secured or  unsecured links, then wait for a few seconds for your download to begin. If the links in the box doesn't work, move on to the next one.

Tip: If the download fails to start or a page refuses to show up, refresh the page or go back to the former page and tap on the link again.

How to find Subtitles

Fzmovies doesn't provide subtitles but it does provide the type of subtitles to look for.

At the movie review page where you find the movie quality formats, you’ll see the Subtitle box at the bottom. Tap on it and you will be shown the subtitle.

Copy the subtitle, paste it on your mobile browser (Google search) and then hit search. Various sites will come up showing various subtitles that matches the movie. Head into one of the websites to download the subtitle.
