Last Thursday in Lagos, the self-styled "grand masters of data" Glo Network launched a life-transforming consumer promotion tagged “Recharge and Win Big”, otherwise called “My Own Don Beta".
The offer is specially designed to reward all new and existing (prepaid and Hybrid postpaid) Glo customers with exciting and empowerment prizes for the year end. Customers will be able win great prizes every single day of the week.
Nigerians from all walks of life, including former football captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, have been congratulating Globacom for the promo which they feel will help alleviate the poverty in the country.
According to Globacom Retail and Consumer Sales Chief, David Maji, some of the items to be won in the promo included Tricycles, popularly called Keke, Industrial Sewing Machines, Grinding Mills, and generators.

How to participate in "My Own Don Beta" promo
To participate in the 'My Own Don Beta' promo, subscribers will need to recharge their Glo line with a total of N200 or more in a day to qualify for the draw. The more you recharge, the more entries you get to the draw, thus the higher chances of winning. For example:
N200 recharge = 1 entry while N1,000 recharge = 5 entries for the draw.
N400 usage = 2 entries while N1,200 usage = 6 entries for the draw.
Know that you cannot carryover accumulated recharges into another day. All recharges in a day will qualify you only for that day’s draw. To qualify for the next day’s draw, you need to recharge N200 or more the next day.
You can win multiple times so long as your number gets selected during the random scheduled draws. Winners will be randomly selected from a pool of qualified customers. They will be notified of their win along with details of date and location to claim their prize by Glo Customer Care via telephone calls ONLY. All winners are required to bring a valid means of identification, SIM pack certificate or Sworn court affidavit stating full names, MSISDN, full address ownership of the winning line (submit original) and 2 recent passport photo.
The draw and prizes presentation events will be held periodically in the following cities: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Benin, Ibadan, Kano, Jos, Enugu & Onitsha.
If you are unable to attend the prize presentation event, you can claim your prize at a convenient date from designated Gloworld outlets in the above listed cities, but remember to take along a valid means of identifying you as the real winner.
