Users are supposed to be notified whenever an update arrives, but some Android users are yet to receive a notification for the update.

First check to see if you’re eligible for an update by opening the Android Auto app on your phone.

Tap the hamburger icon in the upper-left corner.

Tap on Settings.

At the top of the screen, look for an item which should be an option to “Try the new Android Auto.” Enable it, and you should have the brand-new version of Android Auto the next time you plug your phone into your car.
