How to fix "Couldn't Sign In - There Was a Problem Communicating With Google Servers"

Method 1: Restart your phone
Restart your phone and try to sign-in to your Google(gmail) account again.

Method 2: Clear cache

Step 1: Disable the 2-step Authentication, if you have enabled it.

Step 2: If you already have a Google account added, remove it.

Step 3: Clear the cache and data of the Google Account Manager, Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Services framework by going to Settings > Apps to proceed.
Step 4: Go to Settings > Account > Add Account > Google and try to sign-in again.

Method 3: Install the latest Google Play Service

Step 1: Go to Settings > Security > Check Unknown sources

Step 2: Go to http://apkmirror.com and locate a version of Google Play Services that works for your device.

Step 3: Download and Install it on your phone.

Step 4: Now head to Settings -> Account > Add Account > Google and try to sign-in .

Method 4: Only For Rooted Phones

Step 1: Go to Settings > Security > Check Unknown sources

Step 2: Open Your browser and go to http://apkmirror.com. Do a search for "ES File Explorer". Download and Install it.

Step 3: Now, enable Root Explorer from the menu.

Step 4: Next, head to Device Root--system > etc > press hosts file and open in text editor.

Step 5: Erase everything there and type the following. 127.0.0.1 localhost

Step 6: Once that is done, then head back to Settings > Account > Add Account > Google and try to sign-in. That's all
