How to know if a user blocked you on WhatsApp
First, open WhatsApp by tapping the green icon with a white phone inside a speech bubble icon.
INDICATOR 1 - Check the user's status
Tap on Chats. It is the round green icon with a text bubble inside near the bottom-right of the screen. A page will show up with a list of all the contacts on your phone.
Scroll to a user you feel may have blocked you and check for his/her status. If no status, such as "online" or "available," appears below the contact's name, they may have blocked you.
INDICATOR 2 - Look for the "last seen" status
Tap on the contact you think may have blocked you so that you will be taken to the contact's chat page.
On the chat page, look for the "last seen" timestamp that indicates when last a user was logged in on WhatsApp. This will appear at the top of the chat window, beneath the user's name. If you don't see the "last seen" time, this is further evidence that you may have been blocked.

INDICATOR 3 - Look for any changes in the user's profile
Tap on the user's name at the top of the chat window to see his/her profile.
Check to see if there has been any changes on the user's profile, such as new profile picture. A user's profile will at times be updated when you are not blocked. But if you have reason to believe that a user has made changes to his/her profile, but you can't see the changes, then you may likely have been blocked.
INDICATOR 4 - Look for two checkmarks when you send a message
When you send a message to the contact, a single, blue checkmark will appear in each of the chat bubble which will indicate that the message has been sent to the server. A second checkmark will appear once the recipient has read the message.
If the most recent messages to the user you think has blocked you only display one checkmark, and never two, you may have been blocked. Still, this alone is no clear indication that you have been blocked. It could also mean that the contact's internet connection is poor. However, if the second checkmark hasn't appeared after a long period of time, and other signs are there, then you're likely blocked.
Note: You cannot unblock yourself manually. The person who blocked you has to unblock you. If you someone blocked you, he/she will not be removed from your contact lists, nor yours from theirs. The only way you will be removed from their contacts is for them to physically delete you from their phone book.
So that's it. If you noticed some of the indicators here on your WhatsApp, then you are likely blocked out by the user. All in all, you need to draw your own conclusions.
