MTN Slashes Pulse Night Data

For many nightcrawlers who depends on the cheap night browsing from MTN Pulse to download huge files and stream videos, it will come as a big disappointment for them to learn that MTN has just slashed its night data.

MTN sent a broadcast to their subscribers about their intention to change the night browsing plan. Here's a full message that was sent.

"Yello! When you buy the Pulse night plan at N25 from 16/08/18 you now get 125MB. You also get 250MB for N50 and can make multiple purchases. Dial *406# to buy."

As you can see, instead of the usual N25 for 500MB data, we now have N25 for 125MB. Moreover, a new plan similar to 9Mobile night plan, has been added - N50 for 250MB.

Well, before you start freaking out, know that you still have an alternative. You can switch to Airtel where you can still enjoy your night browsing at the usual price of N25 for 500MB data. But being in that plan will require you  to join Airtel SmartTrybe.

Still, with the new move from MTN people will start getting concerned that Airtel might follow suit. Well, what do you think? How do you feel about MTN decision to slash night data? Feel free to state your view. And forget to share.
