Google’s Datally Can Now Limit How Much Data Your Friends Use


Google recently updated its data-saving app Datally. The latest update makes it possible for Android users to limit how much data their friends and family can use when they borrow their phone.

Datally is a very useful app which Google claims can help cut back on your data usage by up to 30%. This is ideal for Android users in areas where mobile connection is poor and expensive.

Apart from limiting how much data is being used by your family and friends, the latest update also comes with several new features. Among them is a feature that sets daily usage limits. With this you can apportion your data throughout the month so that it's properly managed and not wasted.

There’s also a new tool for showing nearby Wi-Fi networks that can serve as an alternative way for you to get online. And there's another feature that highlights any installed apps that are draining your data even though you don't use them. Very soon Google will be adding warnings to help you know when it's time to start cut back on the video calls.

The new features in Datally makes it a handy app for users living in areas with poor network connectivity and for anyone without an unlimited data plan.
