What is MTN BetaTalk?
MTN BetaTalk is a prepaid tariff plan that rewards customers with 250% bonus airtime on every recharge of N100 and above.

When you are on BetaTalk, all calls you make within the country will be charged at the rate of N27 per minute (45k per seconds) from your bonus account. But as soon as your bonus is exhausted or expires, all your National calls, SMS and Data will be charged from your main account at the rate of N25.20 per minute (42k per seconds).

International calls, International SMS and Data while roaming will be charged from your main account only at the prevailing international rate.

The following are the benefits you are bound to enjoy when you are on MTN BetaTalk tariff plan:

Please note that you will only enjoy the 250% bonus while you are on the Beta Talk Plan. If you migrate out to any other tariff plan you will lose your remaining bonus because the bonus is only used on BetaTalk plan.

And also, when you are on the BetaTalk tariff plan, you cannot use the Share and Sell service to send airtime to your family and friends.

How to migrate to MTN BetaTalk?
To migrate and enjoy MTN BetaTalk service, simply Dial *123*2*1# or Text BT to 131

Migration to MTN BetaTalk tariff plan is open to all MTN Prepaid customers. But MTN Postpaid customers CANNOT migrate to the plan.

Migrating to the BetaTalk tariff plan is free of charge. But if you leave the plan and migrate back again within the same month, you will be charged a N100 migration fee.

Once you have migrated to BetaTalk, use the normal account code (*555*) when recharging your phone, e.g. *555*1234567890*, or you can recharge using VTU with N100 and above. Be aware that if you use any other recharge code apart from *555*, you will NOT receive the bonus on recharge.

How to check your balance
To check your BetaTalk main and bonus accounts balance dial normal *556# code and wait for a reply.
