With Google Chrome OS devices soon to replace Android tablets, it should come as no surprise that there will be changes to be made. Already a number changes have been done on the OS, and a new one was just announced.

Chrome pioneer and Googler, François Beaufort, announced that Chrome OS Settings and Shortcuts apps will be appearing in the launcher alongside Android apps.

Previously, the Settings app used to be accessed via the vertical 3-dot menu in the corner of most windows, or the avatar and icon-speckled menu to be bottom right. But since Android apps arrived on Chromebooks, the Settings menu has been made to look more like an Android, and this latest change only serve to prove it.
