The popular beat-em-up game, Tekken has been officially Released for Android mobile devices.
The game creators, Bandai Namco, had first announced the launch of the game for mobile devices back in August last year. Since then there has been a series of roll out in various countries. Now, the fighting game is been officially rolled out worldwide.
Playing Tekken game requires that you choose from over 20 playable characters who will compete in King of Iron Fist Tournament and then upgrade to more than 20 special moves for each fighter.
The game features various game modes such as Story Mode, DOJO Challenge, and Live Events.
In the Story Mode, you could create a team of three players who will help the character Kazuya Mishima battle against an enemy called Revenant. The DOJO Challenge requires you to challenge other players. And on the live events, the game makers will be featuring daily, weekly, and monthly new content in the events they would be hosting.
Tekken game first came out back in the 90s for the PlayStation console. The franchise has seen a number of sequels and spin-offs that have sold millions of units over the years across multiple platforms including Xbox and Nintendo consoles.
The minimum requirements needed for Tekken to work on your smartphone is Android 5.0, 2GB RAM, and Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC/ Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processors or higher.
