Nokia Android Phones Sold More Than Google Pixels


It has been reported that HMD's Nokia-branded Android phones beat Google, HTC, OnePlus, Sony, Lenovo and other manufacturers in sales over the holidays.

According to TechRadar, HMD sold 4.4 million Nokia branded phones in the 4th quarter last year.

Although Nokia’s  sales figures seems impressive compared to
their rivals, it’s still at the bottom end of the smartphone market being 11th in terms of world marketshare. So it still has a lot of work to do to catch up to the likes of Huawei, Samsung, or even Apple.

However, if the HMD branded handsets continues with its current pace after a year then maybe the sales could eclipse the 10.5 million Nokia Lumia devices that were sold during  the fourth quarter of 2014 at the height of the Windows Phone era.
