So, you’ve downloaded and installed Nova Launcher on your Android smartphone or device. You've set it up. Now you want to use it to customize your phone, but you don't know how to go about it. Well you are in luck as I'm going to be explaining how you can do that.
A while ago I posted an article on how you can customize your smartphone with Nova Launcher app. Now this will be the 2nd part of the the article. Without wasting time let's continue.
APP & WIDGET DRAWERS
*App Drawer Grid - Choose the way you want the app drawer grid size to appear - if you want the app grid to be either portrait or landscape.
*Icon Layout - Choose the size of your icons, as well as the size and the type of fonts for the labels.
*Frequently Used Apps - Decide if you want the frequently used apps in the top row of applications to show by turning on button.
*Card Background - Choose whether or not cards have a background.
*Swipe to Open - You can use this to swipe up on the dock and down on your drawer content for opening and closing things.
*Swipe Indicator - The swipe indicator is displayed when the swipe to open is switched on. You can choose to turn it on to show an arrow swipe indicator on the desktop.
*Background - Choose your background color and transparency.
*Enable Fast Scrollbar - Turn this on if you want to enable a fast scrollbar.
*Scroll Accent Color - Set the accent color of the fast scrollbar thumb and overscroll glow.
App Search -
*Search Bar - Turn on this button if you want the search bar always appear above your apps.
Tab Bar -
*Tab Bar - Decide by turning on this button if you want to have tabs and menu icons displaying above your apps. When you turn on the button, you gain access to other tab features below for you to customize.
*Tab Style - Select the type of tab bar you want (material, color block or classic style).
*Menu Action Icons - Choose which icons you want to be displayed on the tab bar (search, Play store or menu icon).
*Isolate Tab - When you turn on this button, you prevent the changing of tabs when swiping between pages.
Horizontal Scroll -
*Scroll Effect - Use this feature to configure the scroll effect (simple, cube or card stack)
*Infinite Scroll - Turn on this feature if you want nonstop scrolling.
Advance -
*Automatically Close - Turning on this feature will automatically close an app after it is launched.
*Remember Position - This feature remember the position you you were at within the app, thus preventing you from resetting to the first page after screen is off or from pressing the Home button.
