Samsung Rolls Out 3rd Oreo Beta And November Security Update For Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus


As the year comes to a close, Samsung rolls out the third Android Oreo beta version, as well as the November security update for Galaxy S8 and S8 plus.

The 623 MB update will come with a sizeable bunch of bug fixes, including the nasty bug some users reported after the second beta.

The Samsung Members app also mentioned a new feature that lets users hide the “Apps running in the background notification”.

The third Oreo beta will also come with the general November security patch, while non-beta program users should be receiving the November patch as an OTA update shortly.

The 545 MB security patch update is expected to fix the notorious Wi-Fi KRACK vulnerability as well as over 60 other exploits. The build number for the latest patch is G950FXXU1AQK7.
