How to download mobile games from Games Club
Downloading games from the portal is relatively easy. First of all, browse through the site and check out the range of mobile games available. Games Club has a unique offering of unlimited access to over 1000 games.
If you are looking for a specific game you want, just type the name or the partial name of the game in the search bar. Or you can browse through the respective categories and make your choice.
Note: You need to remember that only games that are supported for your phone will be displayed on the pages.
Once you find a specific game you want, download it by clicking the download button and the game will start downloading.
You can find the list of all the games you downloaded in the past in My Account section in Games Club. The Games can be downloaded from the ‘My Account’ section as long as you retain the same number. You can only download a game from the ‘my account’ section only 5 times. The Games are free to download, but data charges would apply as applicable.
Note: Do ensure you have good network connectivity for smooth and uninterrupted download.
How to play the games
After downloading your game, go to the applications folder on your phone and install the games. When the installation is complete, launch the game to play.
Note: If you encounter any problems while launching the game, it may be because you may have downloaded a subscription based game; this can be identified with a launch window indicating multiple subscription options like, N20 per day, N50 per week and N150 per month. Such games will try to check for your subscription status at launch and may not start due to insufficient balance in your account.
You can find the instructions to play the game within the game. You may also visit the Help section on the game web portal from your mobile to get help.
How to unsubscribe from Games Club
If you want to unsubscribe from Game Club subscription services, then send UNSUB to 599 or dial *599*2#. Or you can just go to My Account in Games Club and click on Unsubscribe button. You will not be charged for opting out.
The Ala Carte games portal
Games Club includes a Games portal called Ala Carte. It is similar to MTN Games+'s VIP Club where you can pay only for the game/games that you want to download. Once you've paid for the game, it becomes yours for life. There will be no recurring or additional charges for downloading these games. You will pay only for the game that you have downloaded.
The games in this portal are available at three different prices; N30, N50 and N100.
If for some reasons the download was interrupted, you can redownload the same game from My Account section on the portal. This section shows the list of all games that you have downloaded.
Note: Remember that you can only attempt to download 5 times. And make sure that you are in good connectivity when you retry.
If you change your handset but still keep the same mobile number you use for downloading from Games Club, then you will be able to play the same games on your new handset if they are available for your new handset. However, if you change your mobile number, then you will be recognized as a new user and thus required to pay for the same games like a new user.
Hope this info helps.
